The Waiting Game

We all have situations that we want to fix but we cannot. The only thing we can do is pray and wait, trusting the One that has created us, that He will be faithful to keep His promise.

But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish,
but everyone to come to repentance.
2 Peter 3:8-9

What a beautiful reminder of God's Sovereignty!! I know that the Lord is so faithful but, yes, it is sometimes hard to wait. I've learned to say, "Your Will, God, not mine" because I've seen how much He truly does bless me and teach me if I'll just wait on Him. God Bless you!

Some people are frustrated that my husband hasn't found a pastorate but it will all come in His timing. If we jump at the first thing that comes along without it being His will then we won't be where He wants us to be and he (my husband) can't be used to His fullest potential and we will all be miserable to boot.

Thanks for the reminder!

Hugs,
Carmen
