I used a box mix for a German Chocolate cake.
You could use 1 1/2 mixes if you want to make a 3 layer cake.
Be sure to let cake cool completely before icing.

In a saucepan pour 1 cup of whipping cream (or evaporated milk),
1 stick of butter,
1 cup of sugar,
and 3 egg yolks.
