How we live our lives has everything to do with our relationship with Christ.
How we love our spouse,
how we train our children,
how we manage our homes,
how we carry out our vocations,
how we love our neighbor,
it is all to be done in the Light of God's word.
As I was reading Handmaidens of the Lord the other night, Crystal Paine told of a sweet note she received from her mother. She says,"Each day God gives us inmuerable opportunities to die to self." (page 44)
Oh how true that is! When we are giving of ourselves for others there is no time for self-pitty!
