Mrs. Wilt's post about her cake plate provoked me to share with you what I have done with one of my cake plates. I use it for a turntable in my cabinet in the furthest corner, that 5'2" me has a hard time reaching. This way I just turn it to what I want and it is pretty to look at.
I also keep a covered cake plate on a table in front of a window in our kitchen. I love it, it is so versatile, practical and pretty!
