Today's Frugal Friday tip is yesterday's tutorial.
As I stated in the tutorial you can use just about anything to make these, so don't toss those flannel shirts that are missing buttons and have worn out elbows.
Yesterday we stopped by the thrift store and we found a light blue, king size flannel sheet in excellent shape for $2.50! What a great deal! This will make a couple of rag quilts for Christmas. btw, I also bought a king size set of flannel sheets and pillow cases for $7! They are so pretty and good quality...you just can't beat THAT!!! If I didn't love 'em so much they'd be cut up into rag quilts too! :o)
So be frugal, keep your eyes open for flannel and make everyone a warm, soft quilt this winter!

Kathy that is so pretty! Hubby is the sewer in our house so when he gets some time I'll have to ask him to show me. It looks really easy. Thanks!
Wonderful!
They look so pretty.

I just got my JoAnnes flyer for Black Friday and beyond. As usual, they are having flannel for $.99/yard that morning. I stood outside to get a bunch last year, but will pass now. You can't beat a flannel sheet for $2.50!
The quilt is adorable. I'm gonna have to make one of those soon.
Blessings--

Keeping my eyes open! :o)
Lisa, I have to tell you...your little icon with the lady at the computer...my kids burst out laughing and said, "THAT is just like you Mom!" lol...
