We are in Miami this week. Jeff and Josh are doing some work for my brother and we women folk were able to come along. I only get to see my brother once every couple of years, but this is the second time I've seen him this year. He recently started his own business and has done very well. (If you own your own jet and would like a theater installed, let me know and I'll give you his number! ;o) ) I've been very surprised and blessed that he has seen it as a priority to "spread it around" to family members. He has been very gracious to Joshua, he has contracted my other brother for some equipment, and this is the second time he has used Jeff this year, allowing the girls and I to tag along. Although he claims a different religion, I believe he is living God's way of taking care of family first, even if he has different name for it, it is GOD'S principle and you cannot change truth. For this I hope he will be blessed.
Although our lifestyles and world views are complete opposites we are still family. The older I get the more important I am learning that this is!
Edit: I just wanted to clarify that when I said 'spread it around', I am referring to the opportunities/work, not a hand out. Jeff has put in some very long hours, which is normal for his work ethic.

lol...OK!
My mother refers to my family as The Little House on the Parie and she says my brother's family is like Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. I am so very thankful for who and where I am at!
Miami? Somebody will have a lovely tan this Christmas! :o)
Glad you are getting to spend the time with your brother!
I have been using Google reader so I haven't seen your new blog look until today. I like it.
I'll try not to be too envious that you're in Miami while I'm here in 50-degree lately-it's-been-really-dreary AL! :-)
LOL Lisa, We are not the beach bumb type, but we are heading there tomorrow. :o)
Thank you for your sweet words Shelley Jo. Yeah it is hot and humid here. I don't know about your corner of Alabama, but we are so VERY dry where we are so we're glad to get the rain! Besides, rainy cold days are PERFECT for quilting!!!
