I was telling Daisy that I struggle with the whole idea of Halloween traditions, and prefer my pumpkins "carveless" too, but hubby insists on carving with the kids and trick or treating with them...we usually have unity in most things, but we just differ in this, since he thinks they are harmless and doesn't want to deny the kids these traditions. But I do love this poem...I think when we carve this year, I'll incorporate this. Thank you so much!

And I loved visiting...come by and visit me anytime!
Blessings!
~TammyTammyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13932066100979969014noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13772041.post-75765744351896506492007-10-12T07:51:00.000-06:002007-10-12T07:51:00.000-06:00Mentioned The Pumpkin Prayer in my blog post today...Mentioned The Pumpkin Prayer in my blog post today! My tip would be: if you run out of pumpkin, any winter squash will do when prepared and milled. It's hard to tell the difference once it's baked! Keep some in the freezer just in case and defrost it if you need it!

I posted a link to your pumpkin fun today at Red Geraniums. My favortie pumpkin idea is to hollow out a baby pumpkin - rim the hole with cranberries attached with toothpicks and insert a fall colored taper candle. Beautiful!

Blessings -
Courtney

PS I blogged about the contest with a link at www.homeschoolblogger.com/heartforhomeAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13772041.post-91810758284687810752007-10-10T11:38:00.000-06:002007-10-10T11:38:00.000-06:00Kathy,What a wonderful pumpkin carving poem - I lo...Kathy,

What a wonderful pumpkin carving poem - I love that!!
